for everyone

It started with not knowing and ended with fatigue and disasters.

It all happened like this....hubby took the car to work and I wasn't gonna go to this rodeo which happened to be free since the ticket were a gift from a real estate friend, but hubby said go and he'll pick us up later that night.

So, we finally went. Took the cab costs 40 bux. I wanted to take girls into the Carnival but since they didn't really eat lunch properly, we got something to eat and by the time we finished eating, it was time to go inside and see the rodeo. Sorry girls, mami will take you to the Carnival next time yeah?

So then the rodeo just started at 7 pm and i got a msg from hubby that he's there already and ready to pick us up. The disaster began and I started feeling uncomfortable. For one, I wanted the girls so experience what's happening and the other I don't want to upset hubby, but I was too late, he was upset already.

Well, make the story short, we ended staying until 10pm and watched Fergie performed. And it was a good I left when I did, I didn't get caught in the crowds when getting out and getting home. Took another cab home that costs another 40 bux. Oh well! I think the girls had fun, although I was still feeling uncomfortable with hubby still being upset and all. We both worked out our feelings the next night lolz

March 24th, 2008...Hubby's day off and we needed to take care of some errands.

First, it was the inspection.  In Texas, inspection is first and foremost to get a car registered.  Done in half an hour....and state inspection is everywhere....every other car shops has this service.

Second, we needed to get a DL change to Texas...therefore becoming a Texan, but they told us to get the car registration and come back with it to transfer an out-of-state DL to Texas DL.

Third, we got our Title and Registration for the car and the plates on the spot...didn't take long...a bout half an hour also.  I overheard a gentlemen behind me said that the trick to do things quickly is to come to this location which was the Harris County Local Tax Office.  Hardly any line at all...and there were more ppl at the window to deal with.  Compare if you go to the local court house, yes court house for car registration.  You'll have to prepare yourself for a triple snake lines.  So we were really lucked out that day.  All we need to do is to get our DL transfered.

Then when everything was done...lunch time has arrived.  We drove and drove to look for a place since we were in the downtown area....we're not so familiar with this yet....hopefully one of our houstener friends can guide us in it.  Well, we found this place that looked "cool".  It turned out we were lucked out too.  Not only that this place is kid-friendly,  the food is awesome, and not too pricey.  Cyclone Anaya's Mexican Kitchen.  The atmosphere is relaxing yet exciting.  The decor is all about Cyclone Anaya who is or was a professional wrestler back in the 50's or 60's I believe (correct me anyone if I'm wrong).  I'll give it 3 1/2 stars.
